— What We Believe —

The historic Christian faith.

As expressed in the Nicene Creed, the foundation of everything we do.

We believe in one God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible.

And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, begotten of his Father before all worlds, God of God, Light of Light, very God of very God, begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father, by whom all things were made: who for us and for our salvation came down from heaven, and was incarnate by the Holy Spirit of the Virgin Mary, and was made man, and was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate.

He suffered and was buried, and the third day he rose again according to the Scriptures, and ascended into heaven, and sits on the right hand of the Father. And he shall come again with glory to judge both the living and the dead: whose kingdom shall have no end.

And we believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord and giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, who with the Father and the Son together is worshipped and glorified, who spoke by the Prophets. And we believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one Baptism for the remission of sins. And we look for the Resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.

The Purpose Test

Every feature starts with one question: does this genuinely help someone? If the answer is unclear, it does not ship.

We would rather leave a feature on the drawing board than build it in a way that compromises trust. We do not build for vanity metrics, engagement traps, or investor demos. We build for real people with real needs.

Privacy by Design

Your data belongs to you. We collect only what is necessary, store it on your device whenever possible, and encrypt it when it travels.

  • On-device processing first.
  • No advertising identifiers or ad SDKs.
  • No third-party analytics or cross-app tracking.
  • No user profiling, behavioral targeting, or marketing segments.
  • No biometric data collection.
  • No precise location data unless core to the app and explicitly permitted.
  • Data retention minimized — we keep data only as long as needed and make it easy for you to delete yours.

Your Data Is Not for Sale

We do not sell your information. This is not a business strategy that could change with new leadership or market pressure. It is a core conviction.

We do not share data with third parties for marketing or advertising. We do not participate in data brokerages or exchanges. Our revenue comes from purchases and subscriptions, never from advertising or treating your information as a commodity.

We do not sell your personal information. Period. This is not a negotiable business decision. It is a core principle.

No Dark Patterns

We design software to help you, not to trick you. No manipulative interfaces, no deceptive flows, no guilt-driven prompts.

We do not use algorithms designed to maximize screen time or manipulate engagement. No deceptive opt-ins, hidden costs, forced continuity, or bait-and-switch. Every notification, prompt, and screen exists because it serves you, not because it serves our metrics.

Family-Safe by Default

If we would not put it in front of our own kids, we do not put it in front of yours.

Apps for children contain no advertising, no in-app purchases that bypass parental controls, and no links to age-inappropriate content. We comply with COPPA and applicable children’s privacy regulations. We never knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Our children’s apps are built with the same care we bring to raising our own kids. That is not marketing language. It is a promise.

Responsible AI

Artificial intelligence is a powerful tool. We use it to serve you, not to study you, profile you, or train models on your data.

  • Your data is never sent to AI systems that use it for training.
  • If a third-party service cannot guarantee your data will not be used for training, we do not use it.
  • On-device AI is always preferred.
  • When AI affects your experience, we tell you clearly.
  • We do not use AI for behavioral profiling or engagement manipulation.
  • AI does not make decisions about your data — people do, and those people are accountable.

Quality Over Speed

Every screen, interaction, and line of code is built with intention. We do not ship bloat, and we do not cut corners.

Accessibility is not optional — we build for everyone. We test thoroughly and fix crashes promptly. We keep our apps lean and focused on doing what they promise to do, without unnecessary complexity.

Transparency & Accountability

When we say something, we mean it. When something goes wrong, we own it. When practices change, we tell you first.

We respond to support inquiries within 2 business days. We honor data rights requests within 30 days. We update our privacy policy before introducing changes, not after. We never discriminate against users for exercising their rights.

Third-Party Discipline

We are careful about the company our software keeps. Every external service we integrate is held to the same standards we hold ourselves.

We minimize third-party dependencies. Any external service is vetted against these principles before integration and disclosed in app-specific privacy policies. If a service conflicts with these commitments, we do not use it, regardless of convenience.

We pursue excellence in our work because of Who we do it for. These principles are not aspirational. They are how we operate today.
